Tanaka Tours

We at Tanaka Farms want to educate children about where fruits and vegetables come from and how they grow.  So back in 1998 we started our first Strawberry Tour. No where else in Orange County was there such a thing, let alone in Irvine!!

Pumpkin Patch (October)
Tanaka Farms is the only working farm in Orange County that grows pumpkins and gives you the opportunity to select that "Perfect Pumpkin". Customers can come to pick them right from the vine or select a pre-harvested pumpkin. Pumpkin Patch is a self guided tour. On the weekends there are Fall Harvest Festival Activities available. Come to Tanaka Farms for a wonderful outdoor family experience. For more information about the pumpkin patch and how to make reservations, click here: Pumpkin Patch.

Christmas Trees (Not a tour - December)
We hope you enjoy the touring seasons, but now we turn to the winter holidays. We purchase our trees from various small farms around Oregon to support local growers like ourselves. Many times our trees are cut the same day that they are loaded for shipment and are delivered via refrigerated truck (as opposed to open-air stake beds). Tanaka Farms has a satisfaction guarantee. We are not in this community just one month out of the year; we are here all year long and we want you to be happy. We want to provide you with the freshest tree possible, but sometimes you may come up with a dry tree before Christmas. Please come back and let us know so that somehow we can make it up to you, our valued customer. For more information about our trees click here, Christmas Trees.
