CSA “Community Supported Agriculture”
Tanaka Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
Support your school, local farming and your family’s health!
Fundraising for schools, churches, businesses, and other
groups with locally grown, farm fresh produce and fruits.
• Promotes healthy eating habits.
• Not your typical fundraiser. Replaces and/or augments candy, cookie dough, magazine,
and wrapping paper sales. Subscribers (participants) help raise funds to help support
their organization or group.
• A variety of local produce/fruits changes with the seasons, educating subscribers with
what grows on the farm during the different seasons of the year.
• Support for a local family farm and the local farm movement.
The Product:
1. A box of farm fresh produce using organic farming methods. We are not certified as we

did treat our soil using conventional methods in the summer of 2008

supplemented from other organic farmers to provide a good variety in each box.
3. Produce is delivered to the school once a week where it is picked up by the subscriber.
4. Subscribers do not have a choice as to what they receive each week.
5. The amount of produce in each box has an approximate retail value of $25, enough for
a family of 3 or 4 for a week.
The Cost:

picked up by the subscriber will not be refunded.
